It's been about 12 cat years since I've posted.

I've been very busy. My mom got me a little kitten to take care of. We named her Zumi. We're best friends and we play all the time so I don't get much time to write anymore. I'll tell my mom to make a catster page for her too.

Get off the computer!

My mom is always using the computer when I want to eat. So I lay on top of the keyboard and she can't type. Then she gets up from her chair and I bolt into the kitchen and stand in front of the fridge, because I know there's food in there. If I just lead her to it, she'll want to feed me. I feel sure of it. When she's having trouble getting the hint, I sit on top of the fridge and meow incessantly. That's a great one, for all of you kitties out there having trouble getting your moms to feed you whenever you like. Just sit on the top of the fridge and meow meow meow. Sound resonates from up there and it's very effective.

January 21, 2005: Why am I so spoiled?

Sometimes my mom has to work all day and all night at the hospital. Then she comes home and I bump my butt against her until she gives me a treat. I think today my mom felt bad for working so long, so she bought me a whole bag of new things to play with. There's a comfy bed (I don't know why she bought that, since I already have 3 beds here at home and we only have 1 bedroom) and a scratch mat (nothing like a good scratch to start the day) and something called a "kitty barn" (which I haven't figured out quite yet but I have been trying hard to wrestle it to the ground) and also some mouse toys (they make a rattling sound when I throw them in the air). My mom says now we're broke. Oh well. It's going to be a good day.
