Well this has been quite the week. It started out where I got in trouble for trying to sneak outside and get some catnip and accidentally scratched Mom's leg. I wasn't in the doghouse for long though before the "girls" Callie and Maleka had a big fight. It was over food of course. Dogs can be so obtuse. There are better things in life than food, like CATNIP. Now that's something you might want to take the chance of getting in trouble for if that was the prize at the end of the rainbow.

Callie's ear does look sore. She's the prettiest of the dogs. I hope this won't leave a scar. I told her it gives her character. She makes sure she knows at all times where Maleka is now. She's giving her a wide berth. Callie is the Alpha dog. She's smaller than Maleka but older and wiser and rules the roost. It was very unlike Maleka to take that chance. She must have been her usual self and not looking where her mouth was taking her.

Girls will be girls. I hope next week is quieter. It interrupted my nap time.
Cats are just more civilized.
