Arrival Story:
My sister ate too much tortilla soup at work one day, so she went home early, feeling a bit ill. She stopped at the apt manager's office to check mail and pick up a package. The agents at the office were taking care of this stray but tame cat, and they asked her if she would take in the cat. She said she'd introduce her to her other cat and dog, and if the cat liked the dog she could stay. The new cat loved her dog, Alison... I mean LOVED, so she stayed. We named her Tortilla Soup, since it was the soup that brought them together that day. In June 2007, my sis decided three pets was really too much, so I took Tortilla back to my place, where she and Onyx are settling in together.

Bio:
Really no idea how old she is, since she was found as a tame stray, but when my sis took her in in 2005 the vet said she must be 2 or 3 yrs old.

The Memoirs of a Tabby Named Tortilla Soup

I have decided...

... that wet cat food isn't so bad afterall, especially when I'm thirsty.

... that even though I prefer water from the bathroom sink and from the toilet the water placed for me in the glass bowl will have to do. Why won't the human just leave the toilet lid up for me?

... that I love my new furry ferret-shaped rattle toy.

... that I also appreciate the velvet comforter the human just spead out on the bed.

Dear Santa,

I want:

a kitty condo/tower
replacements for all the rabit fur-covered mice I've destroyed
more catnip
a festive collar
more toys that make noise

Thanks,
Tortilla
