I went to feed the cats this morning and was really sad thinking about Thomas when I got there. I'm not sure if I imagined it but Sampson (one of the cats I feed) seemed a little out of sorts. When I opened the car door, with the way he was acting, I thought I'd hear Thomas say hello. He's the only cat that Sampson reacts differently to when he's around. But, when I got out of the car, no Thomas. So, I went around and put the food down for the rest of them. When I came back to the car and was about to open the door, I looked out into the cul-de-sac outside the complex and there sat a kitty. It didn't seem to react to my voice or even my presence. So, I walked around the bushes over to the fence separating me from the cat. It was dark out but I could still tell it was a orange/light colored cat. So, I called his name and said hello to him. I said "come here Thomas" and he ran right to me...crying his little cry. He was happy to see me and I made sure he knows I was happy to see him too. I put some food down for him and talked to him while he ate. He didn't really want me to touch him while he ate. He didn't stick around but for a few minutes and he wanted me to pet him after he ate but when I did, he cried like it hurt. I know he had a wound behind his left ear but he cried out when I touched his sides too. I hope he's ok. Then he walked thru the gate into the pool area and he rolled around on the concrete scratching his back. He washed his face and then he was off and running. It was SO good to see him!!! He made my day!!! I'm glad my little boy is still alive! I love you Thomas!!!
