   Leave a treat for Spot

Laying in his bed in front of the window; being scratched behind his ears

Being looked at, talked about, or approached

Favorite Toy:
Plastic ring from the top of the milk carton

Favorite Nap Spot:
In front of the upstairs window, overlooking the back yard

Favorite Food:
Every now and then he'll request a piece of chicken from the dinner table, but he rarely actually eats it

Getting really nervous and hiding for no particular reason

Arrival Story:
Spot showed up at the back door of my husband's apartment (before I met him) one night and sat out there howling all night long. When Fred would go out there to see what was going on, Spot would run away, then once Fred went back inside, Spot would be at the door howling again. It took a few days, but Fred gained Spot's trust, and when Spot let Fred get close enough to pet him, Fred snatched him up, threw him in a pet carrier and took him to the vet. He's belonged to Fred ever since. Update: On January 28, 2008, Spot was peacefully put to sleep. He'd gotten very sick very quickly and despite some medication and care, he wasn't able to get better. He will be very much missed.
