Arrival Story:
He was a kitten my vet had up for adoption. I have a fondness for black cats, and there was this tiny black kitten, who looked up at me with such sweet eyes! It wasn't hard to decide to bring him home! I immediately thought to name him Blackjack (even though I don't gamble or play Blackjack). The vet tech suggested I call him BJ for short, which I thought was cute, like on MASH. Later my niece told me what BJ stands for these days, and I rethought that nickname!

Bio:
He can be very loving, but only when he feels like it! Then he loves to bump heads and be brushed. He waits every morning for me to finish my cereal and milk so he can lick the bowl, and becomes quite anxious for me to finish. This is the only food he ever begs for. He is my only cat that makes the cackling sound when he sees a bird or I have a wand toy that he really wants to catch. He is my largest cat, but seems to eat the least! The older he gets, the better he gets, and I love having him!
