Collects "O-O's" from around the pottery and brings them to you. (These are elastic pony-tail rings; she announces that she's bringing one by saying, "Oooh, ooh!" as she carries it so we now call them O-Os.)

Arrival Story:
Murphy was aquired by a former neighbor of mine who got her as a six-week old kitten (illegal in Colorado; puppies and kittens must remain with their mothers for 8 weeks minimum) as a companion for an elderly cat who'd just lost her sister. It was loathing at first sight, so the neighbor asked me if I'd take Murphy, the kitten. (She was named after Mrs. Murphy of murder mystery fame.)

Bio:
Murphy had a very underdeveloped digestive system when we got her and had a very rocky start in life -- the vet didn't think she'd survive, but she did. As she grew, it became clear that she would tolerate all the cats who lived with us before she came, but none of those who came afterwards, so she moved into the pottery where she is now in charge of testing pots for dryness and keeping mice from digging holes in bags of clay.
