Arrival Story:
I was in the bagel place working when the kind ladies from Topcat came in to place a lunch order and a donations cup. We got to talking after I got off and ended up hearing about Charlie (then called Simba). 'Simba' and his brother were found in a dumpster by a Marine less than a day after birth and were bottle fed until they were ready to be adopted. I took him home the day I found about him.

Bio:
'Simba' was on Petfinders and I saved the listing... He was renamed Charlie for seven things: Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Charlie from Witch Baby, Charlie Chaplin, Charles Atlas (referenced in The Rocky Horror Picture Show) Charlie, Velma's husband in the musical Chicago, Hurricane Charley which developed a week after he arrived, and Charlie Weasley from Harry Potter.
