Arrival Story:
My son and I were visiting the mall and passed a pet store. He wanted to look around, so I reluctantly agreed. This tall cage containing 4 kittens stood in the middle of the floor and this one kitten kept reaching thru the bars and grabbing at us as we walked by. It was a couple of weeks before my son's birthday, so I agreed he could have the kitten. Alex soon became my cat.

Bio:
Alex used to like to lay on the front porch enjoying the warmth of the concrete until he was accidentally left outside and was shot by a stray bullet that entered his neck and lodged in his elbow in 1995. Another time, he'd gotten out and became trapped under the car in a torrential thunderstorm. Alex is now quite content to lie in front of the open front door and watch the outside world from behind glass.
