Arrival Story:
Templeton was born in April 2004, to Boo Boo. his mom was a 'miniature manx and weighed in at 4 pounds at age 5. She was a super sweet kitty and one of my favorites. Sadly she died one week after giving birth to Templeton and his two sisters. She had a uterine infection and died from kidney failure. I became their surrogate mom, and fed the kittens with a syringe filled with kitten formula and rice. He was (and is) such a voracious feeder that he would gorge himself on his formula to the point that he looked like a tick that had just filled up. A friend was visiting one day while I was feeding him and said 'Oh my doG that kitten looks like a tick ' so he became 'The Tick', but his personality is much like Templeton the Rat from Charlotte's Web (who also is a glutton!) So Templeton is what we settled on.
Bio:
He loves to play with the Laugh-A-Minute Basset Houndies! He's beginning to learn to stand his ground when Amber (the foster yea right!) chases him. Now he just sits there and then starts boxing her nose. Amber is learning, but she sure is persistant!
