Arrival Story:
Sam came home to my family many years ago from a no-kill shelter.

Bio:
Sam was overweight (tipping the scales at 18.2 pounds at his heaviest!) for most of his life, but is now steady around 13 pounds. He was diagnosed as diabetic in the summer of 2004. He has had ups and downs with the disease over the years, but he's doing well now. He takes two PZI insulin injections per day, six units in the morning, and five units at night.
