Bio:
Idgie's previous owners had named her Rocky, thinking she was a male cat. I adopted her when she was almost a year old. Idgie is a kind of anti-social. She refuses to get along with other cats. She doesn't like kids so much. Whatever perfume my sister wears, Idgie loves it and constantly rubs up against her and whatever purse she has at the time.

Idgie went to Heaven on Monday, December 14, 2009. For the past couple of years she had kidney problems. My good friend told me I would know when it was time. A couple of days before, she'd stopped eating and wasn't really moving around. I carried her with me wherever I was in the house, and I talked with her and remembered all the fun times we had. She was with me through a lot, moved around from place to place. I've known her longer than I've known my husband! :) Idgie knew all of my secrets. She was the best cat friend I could have, and she will be dearly missed.

It's Christmas Time

Wow, this is the best Christmas ever! We have TWO trees! One of them smells good and is really big. The star on top touches the ceiling. The other tree doesn't smell like anything, and it looks like the one we had last year.

I wonder what I am going to get for Christmas! I see my stocking hanging by the fireplace. Doesn't look like anything is in there yet. Hmmmm....

The only bad thing about the big Christmas tree is that it is in the place where my window seat used to be. *sigh* I miss sitting there. But Mom tells me "it'll only be for a month."

It's gotten colder around here. Mom got me this oval bed, it's fuzzy on the inside. It's warm! I sleep in it sometimes.

Oh yeah, I am feeling better, and Mom keeps telling me I've gained some weight back!

Mom and Dad said today is Halloween. I vaguely remember this last year...when I had to be a witch. Luckily, this year no one tried to put a costume on me.

The door bell has been ringing constantly, and sometimes there are loud bangs on the door. I stayed all the way in the back of the living room, on the sofa. It sounded scary near the front door. I don't sleep there anymore, by the way.

Mom finally turned off all the lights at 8pm. It's been quiet since then.

I am used to my special food now. And I went back to that place where they poke me and stuff. "Nothing has changed" they said. I think I have to go back in six months.

I'm feeling okay. The food is fine. But I don't get as many treats as I used to.
