Likes: Inspecting shopping bags and home repair projects, watching birds, hiding underneath the hosta leaves aka "Puddingtown" Pet-Peeves: If we hit "snooze" too many times on the alarm clocks, he'll get impatient for breakfast and begin to tear pages from magazines, hence the name "The Editor". Favorite Toy: Most toys are not very stimulating. Favorite Nap Spot: On the upstairs landing. Sometimes in the cat carrier (as seen in photo below) Favorite Food: Canned cat food from Trader Joe's. Sometimes yogurt. Skills: He can sense when the sump pump has stopped working and sits by the basement steps until you go down and check. He can knock over a human being with a head butt to the calf. indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: I was walking our dog and heard a pitiful "Meeewwwww" from underneath a bush. I bent down to see and this kitten lept in to my arms. He was stinky and dirty and squinting. We walked all over the neighborhood trying to find his "owners" and no one claimed him. Our cat Bert didn't want him in the house so we kept George in the bathroom for a few days, until we could find him a new home. Heh! That was 6 years ago. Bio: George has his own last name - - we had 1,000 names for him and none seemed right until he responded to "George". His last name comes from a late night cable surfing adventure when we landed upon "Max Dugan Returns". He's the sweetest and nicest cat, he almost always plays with claws retracted. He's lovely.
