Arrival Story:
Chili and her siblings washed up onto my terrace during a bad thunderstorm. She was the very first intrepid explorer to come meow at my door and then run away. When she returned, she brought a sibling. Then they brought mom. After I caught the first two kittens, mom returned...with three more kittens! They had been living, as far as I could see, under part of the terrace, right near a downspout. As the gutter filled with water, it drained via the downspout into their makeshift den. The kittens began showing up one by one and I was able to trap them all but for the mother cat. Feral at first, they have tamed up fairly well and are now looking for forever homes.

Chili and Salsa were accepted into a hospice and are not up for adoption.
