Arrival Story:
Her mother, Patches (R.I.P) was a calico that I rescued. She appeared on my porch one day after school and she was greasy and brown so I took her in, gave her a bath, and discovered she was a calico covered in car oil! I gave her food and water and she was a permanent resident of the house and all her many litters until we finally got her spayed. Her last litter was strange. She had one white female, one orange female, one black and white male, and a tiny female runt that looked as if it had been dropped in the dirt (her markings). I named the runt Kilala and quickly discovered how her mother shunned her, not letting her drink milk, not bathing her, and removing her from the rest of the litter and setting her aside in the garage. I decided to become the mother figure and I borrowed a baby bottle from my home-ec glass from my teacher and filled it full of her mommy's milk. I bottle fed her and she slept in my bottom drawer with lots of blankets until she was bigger and slept with me. She's been my little girl ever since! :)
