Arrival Story:
Pagan was part of a litter of stray kittens brought to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. They were about 6 weeks old and it was October 2003, not a good time for black cats coming in. I worked there and saw him, there was something special about him. Being black and having already so many black cats up for adoption, he was marked for euthanasia. His littermates were not black. I offered to "foster" him till it was November and took him home. I soon knew he was a keeper and officially adopted him after he got neutered at 9 weeks of age.

Bio:
Pagan is the resident cat tester for all my foster dogs and a playmate to foster kittens - he has been wonderful with all of them. He helped me socialize a litter of partially wild kittens and he is very dog savvy - he only smacks dogs with his claws when they really deserve it. He is the favorite playmate of Carter, the mini Schnauzer. Pagan is an awesome, very loving and outgoing cat - I am so glad I took him home to stay.
