   Leave a treat for Sarah

Sarah Kitty, Sarah Piglett, Fluff Bucket, My Little Annoyance

Quick Bio:
-mixed breed-cat rescue

She loved attention. Any kind of attention. She'd get it any way, any how. Nothing was beneath her.

Not getting attention.

Favorite Toy:
My fingers, especially when they were doing something really, really important.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Anywhere I didn't want cat hair.

Favorite Food:
Anything. The nastier, the better. I once found a stash of rotting meat under my bed (I was vegetarian at the time, so who knows where she got it from).

She could irritate me in 2 1/2 seconds flat.

Arrival Story:
I walked to the corner store on a cold, wet, windy Michigan spring day. In the parking lot I saw a teeny gray kitten running in circles. She was soaked to the bone, scared to bits and too, too skinny. I bent down and said "Here kitty, kitty". She ran to me immediately, jumped into my sweater, snuggled into my armpit and wormed her way into my heart. She never left.

Sarah Kitty was The Most Annoying Cat in the World and do I have stories to tell! In seconds she tore through plastic sheeting on windows that took days to put up. She stole entire cornish hens from their pans and pizza slices from my hand in the blink of an eye. She knocked prized tea cups and vases of flowers from shelves when she was mad, looking me in the eye the whole time. When I first brought her home she was totally flea-ridden. I gave her a flea bath, left her locked in the bathroom the required ten minutes and returned to find that she had pooped ALL OVER. It was on the mirror, the window and the walls of the shower (how did she do THAT?!). When she wanted your attention, she would stop at nothing to get it and, if you knew what was good for you, you'd stop whatever else you were doing and pay her the attention she so rightfully deserved. She purred like a freight train and insisted on sleeping on my pillow (not the spare pillow just 6" away) as close to my ear as possible. I could toss her off the bed time after time after time. She'd always return, completely nonplussed and all the more determined to keep me up all night. She was incredibly charming when she wanted to be and won over every single person who walked through my front door. I tried and tried to tell them how annoying she really was, but not a one believed me. Everyone wanted to take her home with them! She was 14 when she went to the big Kitty Pillow in the Sky. I loved her madly and miss her dearly.
