Arrival Story:
My Dad found a sleek black female with very long legs outside of the bakery he works at. Later, we found out it belonged to a man who resided at the apartment next door, but she appeared to be malnourished and left outside to roam. My dad, being the cat lover he is, brought this female home to live with our other 3 cats. I named her Nelly and she became part of the family. After we had Nelly for a couple weeks, we noticed her belly had become noticeably larger (she is naturally quite long and thin), with a hard round belly. She was pregnant! She had 4 babies; 2 black girls, 1 blk and white boy, and 1 striped boy (who is now our other baby, Chester). I was planning on moving out and getting a place with my boyfriend, and once we did move out, I was terribly lonely without a furry friend during the time I wasn't at work. So when Nelly's kitties were old enough to adopt, I brought an engergetic tomboyish little black girl home, and we named her Spooky. She is the only girl kitty of the house, and we're keeping it that way; she is our Princess!
