Arrival Story:
Mom was voluntering at the animal rescue organization where I was living. When Dad finally agreed they could get a cat, they brought me home. They think they picked me, but really I picked them. When they were looking at all the cats, I came up to Mom & gave her a big hug around the neck. She's been in love with me ever since.
Bio:
I was abandoned as a kitten. I was lucky enough to be found by a nun, who nursed me back to health & adopted me out. I spent many happy years with a family full of humans, dogs, & other cats. They called me Amby. Sadly, my mom & dad divorced & had to give up most of the pets, including me. I was given to the organization & lived there for a while before Mom & Dad found me.
At my last home I was an indoor/outdoor cat, but now I'm happy to just be an indoor cat. I like to look outside, but don't run out when Mom & Dad have the door open.
I love Mom & Dad very much. If they are sitting on the couch together, I like to sit with them & if at all possible, I like to have atleast one paw on each of them.
You can always tell when I'm REALLY happy to see you, because when you pick me up I purr a lot and drool.
Mom says I'm the sweetest, cutest, best cat ever, but I don't let it go to my head. :)
***Jupiter passed away on July 29th, 2006. He had kidney failure, which took him quickly, despite our best efforts. We miss him terribly and he will always be in our hearts.***
