Arrival Story:
I went to the animal shelter to "maybe" adopt a cat . . . I figured I'd know when I found the right one. I saw this beautiful, dainty 4-5 month old kitten and as I passed by, she stuck her arm and paw out of her cage as far as she could for a little human contact. That was it -- she hooked me. A friend who was with me told the shelter adoption specialist that Ellie had "marketed herself well."

Bio:
It took me a while before I could really love Ellie because she just wasn't Sam (my first cat). Ellie is quiet, methodical, graceful, cuddly, playful, smart and mysteriously beautiful (it's the eye mask, I think). She's not picky about food, she comes to me when I call her (sort of), she's really sweet with her cousin cat Milo, and she sleeps next to me every night. I finally realized how amazing she is in her own right and now I can't imagine being without her.
