Quick Bio:
-cat rescue

Attention- of course! Catnip "buds" (these are the best!), Stretching and scratching his claws while rolling in fresh catnip buds on his double-wide cardboard kitty scratcher.

Not getting attention from me when he wants it. He hates it when his sister wants to groom him & show him her affection.

Favorite Toy:
Small, faux fur mice. Honestly though, his favorite toys are birds, mice and large bugs... yuccc!!

Favorite Nap Spot:
During the summer it's outside on HIS patio chair. Otherwise, it changes. Lately, he's been snuggling up next to me!

Favorite Food:
Friskies Turkey & Giblets (Senior) wet food. I add some Gerbers Ham, Beef or Veal baby food because he lost a tooth recently. He LOVES his baby food!!

He's a good communicator... smart as a whip. We have a telepathic bond.

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
I adopted Luke and my other cat (Trixie LuLu) from a cat rescue organization in 1996. They told me that he was a one year old, but I think he was a bit older. At that time his name was "Rocky". After a getting home and settling in, I called to him... "Rocky.. Rocky" but he wasn't responding. I had a couple of names in mind for him , so I tried the first one out on him. He wasn't interested. Then I said "Luke" and he instantly responded by turning around and looking at me with delight, so I said "Luke - is that the name you like? okay.. Luke it is". He was happy and he rubbed up against my leg. That's the name he wanted! He's named after one of my favorite singers, Hank Williams Sr.. Before Hank went solo, he was in band called "The Drifting Cowboys" and people who didn't know him as "Hank" called him "Luke the difter". I always thought that was a cool name... and Luke's a cool cat!!

I had a session with Sonya Fitzpatrick (The Pet Psychic) in 1998. She told me that Luke had two different owners/homes before me. I told her about his reaction when I called him"Rocky" and how he reacted to the name "Luke". She said that he never liked the name "Rocky" and he didn't care for that "owner" either. She said he likes his name now because he thinks "it's a nice name". Sonya also said that Luke and I have had a past lifetime together in Egypt, in the same format (me human - him cat) and that is part of the telepathic bond we have. She is amazing - and so accurate! . She even knew what color my cats food dishes were! I highly recommend Sonya for anyone with a pet who is experiencing behavior problems, appettite problems or if you just want to know what your pet is thinking. They do have opinions, likes and dislikes and they do feel emotions just like we do. She also communicates with animal spirits and animals that are lost or missing.
