Arrival Story:
I lost my 15 year old kitty Punkin, and had a new puppy in the house. Hubby talked me into waiting awhile to get a kitten since the dog was a little too enthusiastic, LOL, so I waited 6 months and couldn't stand it any more! I had never had a purebred cat before, but had read about Maine Coons and decided I had to have one. I did a search on breedlist.com, and emailed all the MC breeders within driving distance. I wanted a girl, and heard back right away that someone had a 3 week old litter with a girl available. Turns out, she was a he! Lots of fur, those little parts are so tiny, these things happen. I went to visit when the litter was 6 weeks old, and fell in love with him. He came to live in his new home at 3 months old. His breeder wanted me to keep her updated and let her know how he's doing. I sent her an email as soon as I got home with him: Elvis has left the building......and arrived home safely! He is named from a line in the Tom Petty song Freefallin, and of course, as a tribute to The King himself.
