Pet-Peeves: When my Momma says I can't have anymore food...okay, okay so sometimes I'm a bottomless pit. Okay and sometimes when I eat too much and too fast I throw up. *sigh* Am I a glutton? It's not like I purposely try to binge and purge. My food is just so good!
Favorite Toy: My feather toy. I like when it flies through the air like a bird. *Meyahaa* And I LOVE when Momma throws on some music & she picks me up & we dance around the room.
Favorite Nap Spot: I love to nap on my Momma's bed with my head on the pillow, just like my Momma sleeps...or I'll nap on a warm pile of clothes straight from the laundry...or I'll sleep in Peeker's dog bed.
Favorite Food: I love my Greenie treats...ooh the Salmon flavor...the tuna ones...oh goodness their just all so good!
Skills: I am the most beautiful. I can win any beauty pageant with my charm, grace, and beauty. No one beats this "Fengal." I can also jump really really high. I'm good at grooming things too. I like to spread a little beauty throughout the world!

Arrival Story: One day I wandered into a ladies yard over on the South Side of Richmond, VA. I was 12 weeks old and in bad shape. I was very emaciated, full of ticks, flees, mites, worms, and full of dirt. I don't remember much before that.
I do know what happened after that though. Ah yes, two Pitbulls found me in this ladies yard. They were very nice. They started licking me. I guess they felt bad for me so, they told their Momma about me. Well, their Momma couldn't keep me, but she did post me for adoption on a Richmond, Va Freecycle in the summer of 2005.
Sarah, my forever Momma, was looking through the ads one day when she came across the post for me. She decided to reply and the lady I was staying with said yes to her adopting me! Sarah drove all the way across town to get me. It was love at first sight. She took me to the vet and I found out that I wasn't 5 weeks old like the lady had told my Sarah...oh no, I was more like 12 weeks old! Sarah also gave me 4 baths before all the dirt and bugs came off of me. She couldn't even tell I was a tabby "Fengal"...which by the way means faux Bengal.
Now I'm two years old and still so in love with my Momma. She spoils me. I have the run of the house and a sinful amount of toys. Life is good! *MEOW*
I'm still very small though. Only 11 lbs to this day.

Why I have 7 lives left: Well, I almost died when I was a kitten before I was rescued and adopted.
The second time I almost died was from that horrible pet food recall! On my first trip to Charlotte, NC, where I live now with my Momma's...I was feeling out of sorts, since I was in a new environment and all...just too many new strange smells, so my Momma's thought to calm my nerves they would get me a little 75 cent can of moist cat food. Well, wouldn't ya know that thing almost killed me! Within a week I could barely move. I hurt all over. I couldnt even stand up. They rushed me to the vet and I stayed there over night. The vet told my Momma I would have to be put down! *ME--ooww oww OWW!* They tested my nitrate levels, among other things, and they couldn't even get a reading. They were so dangerously high that they had to delute the solution to even guess some sort of reading. My Momma was so sad. I was sad. I didn't want to die! My Momma decided to take me home and have me spend my last days at home with my family, my toys, and all the things I loved. They gave me medication, hand fed me, even though I couldn't always hold it down, they gave me an IV drip,and my Momma would even wake up several times during the night to give me some water.
What do you know, within a week I was feeling great! I had to fight back...I created my own miracle. Just for my special girl Sarah and the rest of my family :)
I'll see the Rainbow Bridge one day...just not anytime soon!
I'm back on Catster after being on holiday in Richmond, VA. It was very relaxing to be at the old house again after being in such a small apartment for so long in Charlotte. Now we're all back in Charlotte, NC though...new apartment (thank goodness! much more room to strut around and show off my beauty!)
Momma tried updating my page some more today, but the computer won't upload pictures from the camera for some reason..."If it's not one thing, it's another" she says. I hope she gets that fixed though because the New Year is right around the corner & this "Fengal" can't go into the New Year with last years style. Who does she think I am, some common house cat? Hey, just because I was found a stray in some lady's yard covered in every kind of parasite imaginable & on the verge of death, certainly does not mean that I am not the MOST BEAUTIFUL "FENGAL" QUEEN you have ever seen. She better get it together...that's all I'm saying!
