Hi! My Name is Celeste! I've been here at the animal shelter since February 2006, which is a very long time to a cat! Someone set out a trap and lured me in with the scent of some really tasty food and I fell for it! I guess they just didn't want to have a cat around, can you believe that?! A very nice Animal Control Officer brought me here and they've been taking very good care of me ever since, but I'd very much like to be in my forever home. I am a very sweet girl but I can be a little shy of new people at first, but once I get to know you, you'll have a true friend for life. I love to have my head, chin and ears rubbed but I'm not the kind of kitty that likes to be carried around. I'd much rather stretch out in a sunny window all afternoon and snuggle up on a warm lap all evening. I like things to be quiet, so I would probably be much happier if I could live with just adults. I'm okay with other cats, as long as they are quiet and dignified like me. Do you have a good home for a sweet & loving girl like me? You will be rewarded with all the love I have in my heart! I'm a sweet delicate young soul who has perfect house manners and don't require much attention, just a warm place to lay my head.
