Hardest day of my life was today. We had to put our beloved Pookie to rest. She will be forever sadly missed .

I will look back with love.
I will look now with strength
I will look forward for there is OUR tomorrow.

We light a candle today in honor of all the homeless, forgotten, abandoned, abused animals.

We light a candle for the nameless ones who gave their lives for others, for research and as a result of humankind's inhumanity.

We ask for forgiveness for their cruelty and ask the light from this candle to brighten their path before them, showing them the beauty of compassion.

As our lights shine brightly towards heaven, may the angels smile upon us, bringing us comfort and peace in this time of sorrow.
I came to bid you farewell on your journey to a place free from pain, not because I did not love you, but because I loved you too much to force you to stay.

"Blessed are they that mourn, for they will be comforted."

Love, light and healing to all.
We Love you Pookie forever!
