I got him from the pound when I was 10 years old. When I found out he was deaf, the pound said that I could return him and exchange him for another kitten - no way! He was the smartest, kindest cat and was a source of strength for me during my very bad childhood. He lived until he was 17 years old. I have his ashes on my desk.
