She liked to dip her paw into the Cosmic Catnip container to get a big pawful to splash on herself. She loved to do "Patio Patrol" - watched the birds & the moles scurry by the screens, catching mice, stealing emery boards, caterwauled late at night!
Elsa didn't like it when you gasped or hiccupped. She would creep up to you and attack you for doing it!
A plastic measuring tape was her favorite. She also loved chasing coins slid across the floor.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Our beds -- but only when we were trying to make them up in the morning. She would stop whatever she was doing and insist on jumping on the half-made bed before you were finished.
tuna fish, Fancy Feast, cream cheese, nightly saucer of milk
Elsa was capable of time travel, being able to quietly and instantaneously move from room to room unseen. She was an excellent mouser who was always on the case. She could also leap amazingly high when tempted with a flapping towel or blanket!
Elsa was discovered at a pet store "white sale" for kittens in July 1989 at the age of 5 weeks. She was on sale because of her white markings. While the other kittens played, she just quietly sat and stared at her soon-to-be owner. When she was brought home, her adventurousness in climbing on everything reminded us of Indiana Jones and so she was named after Elsa, the villainess in the third Indiana Jones movie, which was out in theaters at the time. Her sweet and sassy personality turned out to match the character very well!
Elsa was an unusually tiny cat all of her life but had a giant and unforgettable personality. She had very long whiskers for such a small face. Her most very favorite spot in the house was any open window where she could jump up to and bask in the sun. She lived with Silky but they were not what you'd call - " good friends". They merely tolerated each other's existance. Perhaps it was because Silky was twice her size? She liked to eat flowers - especially daisies. One morning we awoke to find her chin was yellow. At first we couldn't understand what happened. It took us a little while to find out that she had munched on a table top bouquet of daisies and "grew" a pollen beard! Sadly, our little Elsa passed away due to lymphatic cancer on April 30, 2004 almost reaching 15 years of age. We loved her and miss her very much and she will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Goodbye dear little kitten-cat... until we meet again!
