April 3, 2008 - Last Night

Twas last night and all through the house, mommy didn't hear a sound except for Misty and "Scooter". A mad dash here, and a mad dash there...go Misty...go Scooter and not another peep so mommy fell asleep. The 5 a.m. alarm went off, and off went mommy to check her morning coif! What did she see but a freshly "decorated" bathroom with toilet tissue. She looked at Misty...she looked at Scooter and asked "Was this you?" She doesn't know who, do you?

Misty's Prank on Mom - November 25, 2007

Hi friends! It's me Misty with one of her "adventures" to report. Well.....on Sundays grandpa comes over to have breakfast with mommy and then it's newspaper reading time. After they finished the papers, mommy decided to play Christmas carols on the piano for grandpa. Mommy sat down at the piano, opened the book, and started to play. "Hmmmmmmmmmm, something doesn't sound right here" said mommy. It seemed there was a problem with that pedal that holds the notes. Mommy tried again -- nothing. Now she tried all three pedals. "Wow, this is odd. I am going to have to have the piano man look at this." MOL with that, guess what happened? Somebody's favorite little ball came rolling out from under the pedal where it was hiding. Surprise!!! All was well again. Can you guess who's toy it was??????? Love, Misty

Hi friends...it's me Misty. Have I got a "tail" to tell you MOL. You know how Storm and I are still adjusting right? Well....Today I was rumbling and tumbling a little with Storm when mommy came over and picked her up. I figured it was because I was getting a little rough with the little tyke. Mommy went over to the couch and sat with Storm. Lo and behold guess what she did? She started to clip Storm's nails! Now...I'm just taking all this in and thinking to myself..."Better her than me!" Mommy finished clipping Storm's nails and...that wasn't the end of it. She sat on the floor and started to wet Storm with this bottle of kitty shampoo. By this time...I am beside myself with glee! Alright!!!!!!!! Storm is not a happy camper. Wonder if she will leave? Mommy finished up with Storm then by brushing her. You will NOT believe what happened next. Can you guess? You got it! Apparently it was my turn and that's where my "sad" story begins! Guess who was watching this with delight? Storm!!! Until next time....Love you all! Love, Misty

The TAG Game - October 27, 2007

I received Paw Mail from my friend, Clark Gable, to tell me that I was tagged. Well after reading his diary entry, I am keeping the tagging moving on myself. Clark Gable is a handsome dude and good friend. After you say something nice about the person who tagged you, you have to pick 10 fellow Catsters and say a nice thing about them. Then, you send a Paw Mail or a Rosette to each of the kitties. I choose to Paw Mail... So here we go ... #1 Storm, after all she does look up to me as her big sister; #2 Sonny Bono - the "Sonny" to my "Cher; #3 Clownie, my friend and an inspiration; #4 Sami, a good friend and mother of beautiful kittens; #5 Spike is a wonderful friend and the music to my ears; #6 Pumpkin, the bravest, strongest, cutest little boy and friend; #7 Vegas, my friend, and a brave girl to put up with two brothers (just kidding!); #8 Abby, pretty and a sweet friend; #9 Seana, she is my friend and I love that she helps people; #10 Mr. Fez, he is a good friend.

October 10, 2007 - Misty's Night of Triumph

Well dear friends it finally happened! It seemed like any other ordinary night these days -- mommy coming home from work, spending time with me first, spending time with Storm, then "visitation" together. When mommy brings us together out come our toys. Well...Storm loves my pink ring toy. Mommy has been looking for one for her, but can't find it. I usually watch. Tonight....mommy brought out this new scratching post ramp toy of Storm's which I had never seen before. While Storm was busy playing with our tunnel toy, I decided to investigate this new toy of hers. I even decided to rub all over it. Guess what happened? You guessed it! The little pipsqueak didn't like that so much. Seems like the paw had turned. She started to charge me. You KNOW I wasn't going to let that happen so I sat up and looked at her. DETOUR!!! MOL when Storm saw what I did, she made a "cat"line to the right instead of directly at me. That's it for now! I am off for some one-on-one time with mommy and another good cat nap! Love, Misty

September 16 - My Sister, Storm

Well friends.....the day finally came. Little did I know when I woke up, how life would change. It seemed like any other Sunday. Mommy got up, got dressed, and put up her coffee. Grandpa came over, as usual, with the Sunday paper and bagels. They both laughed as I played with my favorite toy. Then it happened....The phone rang. Mommy picked it up and seemed very happy. After she hung up, she said to grandpa we need to go to PetSmart. Well what did I know? I was excited too. I thought she was going to get my favorite food and treats!! Off they went with me saying goodbye in the window. Low and behold they came back about an hour later. Mommy was carrying this cage and I heard this crying. Yes....you guessed it! It was my sister, Storm. The rest is history!! Love, Misty

Well friends it's me, Misty! Boy did today start with a scream MOL. Mommy got up to get ready for work - a usual occurrence in this house. I, being the princess that I am, was not ready to get up yet. All of a sudden, I was awakened by this scream. I went running to see what the matter was. Guess what it was? It was mommy screaming because I made Diary of the Day! Can you believe it? Humans can be so silly that way. Well that's it for now. I'm off for another cat nap. Got to get that beauty rest to look this good! MOL Have a great day!

Labor Day - September 3, 2007

Hi friends. It' s me Misty Blue. Well today is Labor Day but I have had the most enjoyable, restful day. The weather is warm and sunny here with a nice breeze. Mommy has all the screens up so I have been lounging about enjoying the air! I did have to make a quick exit and hide behind the printer! Mommy took out the mean blue machine a/k/a the vacuum. It is NOT one of my friends. Once all that commotion was done with, I got to enjoy the day. Well.......I am off to play with my favorite toy! Have a great day with kitty kisses! Love, Misty
