Arrival Story:
A friend had a cat that had kittens. I had been wanting a cat for a long time and finally convinced my ex to let me get one of her kittens. He picked me - he was the only one who came up to me like he was saying "Pet me please!"

Bio:
Taylor was the light and joy of my life. I'd never had a bond with a cat like I had with Taylor. He was most definitely my furry, four-legged child. He slept with me every night. If I was sick he laid in bed with me purring very softly like he was trying to purr away my illness. He was a very funny cat. I think he thought he was a dog. There were many many days that he had the whole household laughing their heads off. He and Sammy were best buddies and I think that's why he got sick - he died six months after Sammy passed. It was the hardest thing I'd ever done in my life - holding him, kissing him, and telling him I loved him as I watched him die. But I'm glad I didn't stay home while the vet put him at rest.
