Favorite Toy:
Anything 'string-like'

Favorite Nap Spot:
The couch on the screened porch or the patio in the sun

Favorite Food:
mackerel from a can

Does following the dogs on their walk count? She walks 5 paces behind and goes wherever they go

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
Reese was a pound cat that had been adopted by an aquaintance. Soon it became clear that the friend's mom was VERY allergic to her. So our family offered to take her in. R.I.P

Reese is very loving and friendly and bravely puts up with the antics of our two very large greyhounds and the recent addition of Huck, our grey, male cat. She's the Princess here and all the companion animals, not to mention the people in the house, know it. Upset her routine or disturb her 'space' at your own risk! R.I.P. June 2011

What a houseful! When I first came to live here almost 10 years ago , there was only me and Pickle (a tabby who has since gone to Rainbow Bridge). Then there was Cypher, my Rottweiller step- sister. For the next 7 years we avoided contact--Cypher had her space and I had mine. It was working out just fine. Then when Cypher went to Rainbow Bridge I had the skin folks all to myself for 6 months. Boy, did I like that. I was Queen of the Hill! Then the mother went crazy and started adopting these nutty greyhounds! They seem easy enough to push around and Grey brother, Dante, will even let me lie with him on the bed. Then came Huck, another cat! Oh no, this will never do! Princess Reese rules the roost. I hiss and spit at him quite regularly, but he doesn't seem to "get it". Huck has figured out who's boss, but he's STILL HERE! The greyhounds even seem to like him. It is quite difficult staying on top of them all, but I am "getting by".
