Arrival Story:
After finding a new home for Betty, the black devilcat, Grendel definitely needed a kitty buddy. Petsmart was having an Adopt-a-Thon with Second Chance Pet Adoptions, so we went to "just look". Bronte was a quiet girl, a new mommy whose kittens had already been adopted. She cuddled and purred in my husband's lap, so she pretty much picked us!

Bronte is very friendly, but very shy. She really only loves her mommy and daddy. If she can get one of them alone, she's in heaven. She's also the mommy cat to Grendel and Alfred. If one of them has to go to the vet, we always take her along too because she is a great comfort to them. 06/04/08 - Bronte crossed the Rainbow bridge very unexpectedly today. Last night around midnight we noticed she wasn't running from Abbie like she normally does, and when we picked her up and put her back down she just laid there. She had renal failure and died peacefully with Dr. Jones this morning.
