Arrival Story:
Ghost, and her sister Traveler (who has traveled on) were apparently dropped in the wee hours of the morning in the parking lot of the apartment building I was living in at the time, in Austin, TX. When I went downstairs to check out the source of the loud baby meows I couldn't find any kitties. I KNEW they had to be under or in the engine compartment of one of the parked cars.... and I finally spotted a little bit of fur. When I went over to the car and kittied, out trotted Traveler, as nice as you please. We went upstairs and I introduced him to my orange (former) tom and prepared to get ready for work. Just as I was about to leave, dressed in my work clothes, I heard another little Meow from below. I looked over, under and around the car but saw nothing. Went back to get a bit of food, still nothing. I sat on the curb, silent and still (and now late for work) just waiting.. and eventually spotted a bit of grey fur on top of one of the car tires. I was able to reach up from behind and snag the new little one, who promptly disappered when I put her down in my apartment... and therefore became Ghost.
