Oscar's Diary

See, Mom, I can do it.

The other day I heard mom grumbling something about a mouse in the house. I don't know what the big deal was but she kept teasing me about how we had three cats in this house and we still had a mouse. She went on and on and it was starting to effect my self esteem, you know. So when everyone was sleeping I thought I'd take care of it, just to shut her up. So mom wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and turns on the light and finds her mouse right in the middle of the floor...DEAD. It didn't quite turn out as planned, I really wanted her to STEP on it but I think the effect was still there. She said that she was both disgusted and proud at the same time. That'll teach her to underestimate the power of the Oscar.

My new little brother

The other day Mom walked in with a cardboard box that she wouldn't let me see. I heard meowing from upstairs for a few days but mom wouldn't let me check it out. I really wanted to know what was up.

Then the other day the meowing was coming from a room downstairs. I walk in and on the floor was a tiny miniature cat. He was tiny...and stinky. So I gave him a bath and tried to play with him but he got kinda scared. So I just licked his head which he likes. After that he followed me around every where, Sheesh...can't a guy get some peace.

1) I like to sit on people's heads during the night and tickle their noses.

2) I really prefer the cheap cat food even though mom makes me eat the expensive kind 'cause she says its better for me.

3) I pooped in the shower stall the other day because SOMEONE left the door to the litter box room closed, excuse me!

4) I can't hunt mice.

5) I broke one of mom's dog ornaments on the window sill when I was trying to look out the window the other day.

6) I don't mind bathes.

7) I really like dogs. Especially Riley, the beagle, I even clean his head for him sometimes.
