Meowie Wowie!

My mom brought me back some fancy organic catnip from the cat show today called Meowie Wowie. Whoo hoo! That's some good stuff. I have to go wrestle a feather boa now...

I love my dad. I snuggle him every chance I get. I am the snuggliest of all snugglers. I like to lay in bed, nestled in an armpit and massage my humans constantly. If I could get him to lay down, it would be Snugglefest 2005. For now, I will snuggle with mom. She's a good snuggler too. I'm laying next to her with one front paw and one back paw draped over her arm....meow.....

Oh - I let Beckham hug me yesterday. Sometimes I let him, sometimes I don't. He's kind of a rough hugger and he insists on licking my head. He's just a dog, and we all know cats rule & dogs drool so I let him get away with it out of pity.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I had a great one! Sandy Paws brought me lots of furry mice, catnip, furry catnip dots, yarn balls and a cardboard cat scratcher. SparkyLou & I had lots of fun rolling around in the catnip & playing with our toys on Christmas.

My mom had the stomach flu this week (yuck). I took good care of her though. I snuggled her, layed on her pillow and meowed occasionally to make sure she was ok. She's feeling much better now, thankfully, but my poor dad has it now!

Well, I'm off to care for my dad.

My precious claws!

My mom cut my nails. I am not thankful. I am not happy. Now all I have are short nails. How am I supposed to massage armpits with these pathetic dull things??!

To make up for it, she let me lick her bowl of macaroni & cheese when she was done, but still...I need my nails!

Saturday morning the dog was at doggie daycare, so Dad & I were able to snuggle in bed. It really is my favorite thing to do. We snuggled, and snuggled, and snuggled some more. Ahh....

I am a happy girl today. I snuggled with mom on her pillow in the morning, ate my yummy cat food, went to sleep in my warm kitty bed, enjoyed a little catnip and went back to bed. Ahh...it's a wonderful life!

Snuggling

It's been cold lately, and my fur isn't very thick. The best way to stay warm is snuggling, especially with my parents! This morning, I snuggled with mom on her pillow and then this evening I snuggled with dad (and Sparky & Gus). It was so nice and warm. I purred my little heart out and kitty-massaged my dad's arm to shreds.

Purrr...

Oh, I heard my mom making an appointment with the vet for Monday, something about teeth cleaning. I hope it's not for me, but I think I heard my name :0(

No means no!

My mom was on a cat grooming rampage today. She picked me up (against my will - I HATE being picked up) and wrapped me in her blanket. She then proceeded to -gasp- clip my nails! I have managed to escape this procedure for many months. It usually requires two humans to carry out, as I am very skilled at using the cat-ial arts to get out of these type of situations.

I kept saying "NOOOO!" but she kept on clipping. I'm thinking of reporting her.

A long massage...

This morning at 3am, when my mom was sleeping she just looked so peaceful that I felt compelled to massage her arms. She woke up at around 3:15am and started to mumble something about "clippers" and "cat bondage bags" to my dad.

I think she wants to put SparkyLou in some sort of restraint to clip her nails...that would be funny. I'm glad my mom would never try to do that to ME!

Wait...what the...why is my mom measuring me and looking in a grooming supplies catalog...?? I'm not happy!!
