Arrival Story:
Baby belonged to an ederly woman from the time she was a kitten until the day the woman died. She ended up at SF/ACC at 19. Although she was super sweet she was not considered very adoptable. I volunteer at the SF/SPCA with dogs, but somehow heard about this poor 19-year-old, talked my parents into it (we had lost a cat to kidney failure not long before), and started figuring out how to get her. The day I went to get her she was rescued by Give Me Shelter. I contacted them as soon as I figured out they had her and they were happy to give her to me. The rest is history.

Bio:
Baby is very deaf because of old age and enjoys to scream at the top of her lungs. She really does impress me, she had never lived with another animal before, but now shares our home with two other cats, a pit bull, and foster dog and cats. She's not worried about telling another pet off if they get in her space, but her pit bull brother is slowly winning her over. Every night they both sleep under the covers and sometimes he gets to have his head touching her body. She has fit right into the home and has been there for me when I had lost my childhood cat. Other than being deaf, she is in perfect health and amazes the vets.
