Silver Tabby

Watching Catholic Mass on TV, hiding religious items in her cat condo, a doll of Miss Clavel - the nun from "Madeline", beating up the dogs, petting, peeing on dog beds, gardening, sunbathing

Dogs, sinners, fun. She's very serious.

Favorite Toy:
A red fur ball which she carries around in her mouth and caterwauls at the same time. If you catch her she will drop it immediately and look around like someone else was doing it.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of the TV in her zebra print kitty bed

Favorite Food:
Everything - especially popcorn

Practicing Catholic nun, wields the dreaded "Pokey Paw" that she uses to tap her humans for petting - or to beat the other animals

Arrival Story:
Sparky was given to me as a Christmas gift from a friend who adopted her from the pound for me when I was 15. My friend had actually wrapped Sparky up in a box (with lots of holes poked of course!). I immediately knew something was up when the box started meowing and shaking. My mom rolled her eyes at me as I'm infamous for bringing home animals, but let me keep her. Sparky was such a cute kitten!

I was having trouble naming Sparky. The night that I got her the family was sitting down to have a nice dinner when I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the Christmas tree was swaying wildly. Sparky had shimmied her way to the top of the tree and was shaking the tree vigorously. I then noticed that she was biting the strands of lights - after severe panic and rescue, she had a name (Sparky!). I love her. She's the perfect mix of neurosis and sweetness.

Sadly, Sparky lost her battle with cancer late Sunday night. There will never be another cat quite like her, and she will be missed terribly.

Cat show!

My mom went to a cat show today and brought me back some treats. She got me a new fur ball, I don't know why she would think I want that though...I swear another cat must come up behind me at night in the stairway and caterwaul and then run away when my mom comes to see what's going on. It is not me! I am far too dignified for that.

And I must add that I hate dogs! Adora comes up to me and starts butt-rumbling and doing little barks, which makes me angry. So naturally I growl and hiss, which only brings Beckham over and then he starts barking at me and trying to pin me down because I'm yelling at her. Dios mio...

The Winter of My Discontent

It has been a while since I have written due to the new test of patience that has been thrust upon me. Shortly after my last diary entry my parents brought home some sort of evil pig-monster they call "Adora". They have attempted to justify bringing this creature into my home by saying that she is a "French Bulldog" and a "Baby", I accept neither explanation and stand firmly in my belief that it is a evil, evil, piglet. This "Adora" insists on barking at me and trying to sniff me. When I refuse politely (and try to scratch her eyes out) Ding-Dong Hound #1 ( Beckham) rushes over to defend Adora, which of course only entices me further to destroy them both.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I suffer through this very trying time...
