indoors Arrival Story: My friend adopted him from a pet store, but after a few years her job required her to travel an awful lot. She reluctantly gave him to me. Now she doesn't travel so much, but I'm keeping him!!!! Bio: Jazzie tells about his Water Bar: The Water Bar is that intriguing little room adjacent to Mom's bedroom with all different sorts of water to choose from. There is, of course, your standard Bowl-Water: the bowl of water that Mom refills every day, but will occasionally go dry on especially warm days.
Next to that is the Filtered Water where a noisy little pump sends the water from below up through a filter, and then cascading back down to the bottom. Mom thought she was so smart when she brought that home for me. It's okay, but I still like my other choices.
Then there is that special bowl that looks like a chair when the lid is closed. But when the lid is left open I can partake of the lovely Seasoned Water therein. This bowl seems to automatically refill itself!
My favorite is to convince someone to activate the shiny protrusion over the built-in bowl with the hole at the bottom of it. This protrusion emits the most wonderful tasting stream of Fresh Water ever. With my front feet in the built-in bowl and my back feet up on the counter, my rear-end sticks way up in the air while I place my head under the activated stream of water. I position myself just right, so that the water lands on my cheek and trails down into my mouth. It's just fabulous!
Every morning my Mom shuts herself behind the glass doors and prepares a treat for me. I don't know what she does in there, but I wait outside impatiently and can hear running water and, occasionally, a very bad singing voice! Sometimes I have to remind her that I'm waiting by scratching the glass door. When she's finally done and opens the glass doors, I run inside to all of the Sweet Water that I can lick off of the floor, and if I'm really lucky there will also be some bubbles to play with.
Now if only there was a bottomless bowl of Tuna Water..... The Water Bar is also a great place just to sit and reflect on life. Sometimes Mom and I sit in there together! Forums Motto: Jazzie's Gonna Bite You!! The Groups I'm In: Brilliant Orange Cats Unite I've Been On Catster Since:
