I rescued this feral kitty from the place that I work. She was starving. It took me 6 months to finally "trap" her. I first tried with a live animal trap, no luck, she was trap smart. I finally coaxed her into my work place with VERY STINKY sardines, I tricked her in and closed the door. Threw a blanket over her, crated her and off to the vet. Thank goodness she had been spayed, no kittens for me to worry about! She was covered in fleas and her first stool sample contained bones from a mouse. I sedated her, bathed and defleaed her, wormed her, vaccinated her and set her up in a spare bedroom to become accustomed to living with humans. It has taken her about a year, now she loves to be petted, loves to lay next to me or in my lap, has become much less "paranoid", has finally decided her cat and dog siblings are actually fun to live with and that humans are not too bad either! Just DO NOT pick her up, she is petrified of being held. Other than that, she is a great companion..........
