Hi Everyone, Pick 10 Catsters and say a nice thing about them including the kitty that tagged you. Then send a pawmail or rosette to those Kitties. Here we go.
I was tagged by Kitty and KC Sunshine Girl.
1. Kitty - just an all around great guy. His whole family is awesome. And, have you seen his face? He is so cute! (OK, mom wrote that last part)
2. KC Sunshine Girl - she is so sweet and pretty and kind. She and her family have been good friends from the start.
3. Jasper - he is so funny, smart and cute. He is also a stud kitty. You go, man!
4. Dude Kitty - he is so darn funny and clever. I think everyone loves Dude
5. Butter Lover Boomer - again, he is a hoot! His fascination with butter is wonderful.
6. Bitu - very smart and caring cat.
7. Linus - we met on Cat Channel and he was one of our very first friends. Plus, he told us about the great jungle gym at Target!
8. Sebastian - what a guy! Always up for fun. He is a little bit of klutz, but that is one of the things that makes him endearing.
9. Baby - she is very smart - she learned everything she knows from the Internet. She is Kitty's sister. I love their whole family!
10. Mittens - I know Poph will include Mitt-Mitts on his list, but I have to as well. She is a very dear friend. Very caring, sweet and kind.

Dad brought home a new cat on Wednesday afternoon. He is a three year old Maine Coon mix. He is HUGE. Things have been crazy. He was sequestered in mom and dad's bedroom on Wednesday. They did take him into our cat room for a bit to show him around. He was allowed out and about to smell the house on Thursday while we were sequestered.
He decided he was tired of being sequestered in the bedroom on Friday morning - when mom was trying to get ready for work. Then, at 4.am. this morning, he climbed to the very top of the three baby gates blocking the bedroom door, squeezed through the small gap and heaved himself over. Not a happy wake up for mom or dad. Now, dad has taken the baby gates off every door and is not hovering around (he and mom have been heavily monitoring the goings-on) and things are much better. Mom and dad think their stress over having to monitor all the time was adding to our stress. I think they are right. Things are a bit better. PJ seems to be acclimating to the house quickly. It's us cats he has an issue with. Actually, he just wants to be left alone to explore....we want him out!! This is our house and our stuff! We are all slowing feeling each other out. It has gone surprising well so far for the short amount of time he has been here. Mom/dad didn't think they would be able to take the gates down for at least a week. PJ had other plans.
I will try to keep you posted. Mom says she will make a page for PJ as soon as things settle down a little here. Mom is also copying and pasting diary entry on my siblings' pages. She is tired and stressed out from having little sleep last night.

Let's see.... This weekend we all helped mom and dad flip the bed mattress. We helped so much that they couldn't remember which end was supposed to be up! After we finally left long enough for them to accomplish the mattress thing, we then helped with putting on the sheets! The mattress pad thing is the best because it is heaver than the sheets and fun to sharpen claws on. Not that I ever do that..... MOL
Mom and dad brought home two more boogie mats yesterday! We just love those things. They don't even have catnip in them and we go crazy for them. Excellent purchases mom and dad!
Otherwise, it is pretty much same old same old here. It's August in Texas and the temperature is where it is supposed to be - upper 90s/100 during the day and about 80 at night. We sure have been blessed with a mild, wet year so far. Now that it is getting to be normal temps, mom is wishing for more rain! We cats would just like the windows to be opened again! Mom says that won't happen until October probably. She said October is not that far away.
That's it from here. Hope you are all well.

Well, mom says she wishes it were still raining.... Like we haven't had enough of that! We have already surpassed our yearly rainfall average.... It is 11.45am, 84* out and 75% humidity.
Thank goodness we are all inside-only kitties!
Dad bought us a Drinkwell Water Fountain! It is great. I love to drink from the faucet, so having a little faucet type thing on ground level is awesome.
Yesterday morning I hopped on the bed to get in some Bear time... you know, snuggle with my bear. Well, mom was accidently hugging my bear and her bear was where mine is supposed to be!! As you can imagine, I told woke her up and told her all about it. She apologized and switched the bears out and I had some quality bear time. Then I curled up on mom's chest and went to sleep.
That's about it from here. Hope everyone is staying cool in this heat!

I have been tagged by Arwen!
The "Tag! You're It!" Rules:
Each player starts with seven (7) random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write in their own diary about their seven things and the rules of the "Tag! You're it!" game. You also need to choose seven other cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave each cat you tagged a comment (Catster Paw Mail) that you tagged them and instructions to read your diary for details of game play. Have fun tagging and meeting new kitties (hint: check recently updated diaries to find some kitties who haven't been tagged that might have fun playing the game.)!!!
1. I am a momma's boy. Mom is my favorite!
2. I love it when mom sings to me. She makes up songs about each of us.
3. When I was younger, I would sit by the bathroom sink and wait for mom to cup her hands under the running faucet so I could have a drink of water from her hands.
4. I scared my big brother Pophie to death when I first arrived and jumped on him to play. He hid for an hour.
5. There is nothing I like better than warm freshly cooked turkey breast meat!
6. It is no secret, by I still nurse on Carter Bear.
7. When mom is washing her face in the bathroom, I like to jump on her back and get cozy.

So far so good. Mom finally got her lazy butt out of bed to feed me at 6.45am. She ran around cleaning the litter boxes and fed the feral cats, but I all I cared about was my food. I love food. Everytime there is food, you would think I hadn't eaten in days the way I snarf it down. Food is good. All food is good. Well, maybe not lettuce. But carrots and flour tortillas are good.
While mom was showering, my brother Pophie pulled the towel off the back of the commode again. I just watched from the open doorway. There is pretty much no reason to close any doors here. We will just attack it until we get it open or mom/dad open it for us.
After her shower mom dressed so she and dad could run errands. Knowing this, I ran into the bedroom before mom and lay down on the bed looking cute and ready to snuggle. Mom lay down with me to kiss my head and stroke my fur. The errands could wait. My purr changed, so mom knew I wanted to nurse on my bear, which is kept between mom and dad's pillows. When I first arrived here two years ago, I nursed on mom's stuffed bear. Ever since then, he has been mine. Now that I am bigger I have a routine before nursing on him. Mom has to lay on the bed with me, then I hop on mom's chest and head butt her face. She kisses me and rubs me and tells me it is okay to go to "Carter bear". (The bear is made by Carter - the baby products company) Then, I go nurse on Carter for several minutes. After that I take a break and nuzzle mom for a few minutes, then go back to Carter bear. This routine happens about twice before I have had enough "nursing" and then I lay on mom's leg. She pet me today until I started biting her hand, then she said, "Okay, it's time to run errands."
She and dad came back with a paper sack that my sister, JoJo, immediately ran into. I like sacks, too, you know! Mom gave me some kibble in the kitchen so I wasn't angry about JoJo claiming the bag before me. Right now I am schooling the bungee mouse hanging from the back of mom's computer chair. We have a great life here.
