My bad day

I really worried mama and daddy last night. When she got home from work, daddy ran up to her and said "Paisley is losing her babies" There was blood all over the bed, all over the floor and they found 3 kitties that I lost. Mama called the vet right away and they said to bring me in. Then mama and daddy caught me and put me in a carrier and mama took me to the vet. The vet shaved some of my pretty hair off my belly and did an ultra sound. They saw two kitties still in my belly and they are moving around and have stong heart beats. I was dehydrated too, so they gave me some fluids under my skin. Then they told mama to take me home and watch me carefully. If I started losing a lot more blood, then I would have to go back and possibly get spayed. Mama put me in her room in one of the kitty playpens so I would not hide from her. There has been no more blood and my two kitties are still in my belly. Now we just have to wait and see. I am calmer so maybe the two babies will stay where they are until it's time for them to come - March 14. We will see. Paisley

I had my babies!

Well, I had three beautiful babies on Friday Sept 14th. Two boys and one girl. Mama says they are a little bigger than my last kitties have been, but I suppose that is because I only had three this time. They are all doing really well right now. But, since I had problems with my last litter getting an infection, mama has some antibiotics on hand just in case we need them. It's sp nice to be a mama again!

My Babies

Well, tomorrow night after work, mama is taking my kitties with her. She is driving up to put them on a plane early in the morning so they can go to their new mama's house. They are going to fly from Minnesota all the way to Florida! At least they are going together so they will never be lonely. I will miss them, but I know they are going to be really loved.

1. When I first came home mama didn't think I could meow.

2. I used to run when anybody even moved.

3. I was abused for about 1 1/2 years before I was rescued.

4. I have BEAUTIFUL babies and am a great mama cat.

5. Now, when mama talks to me I walk toward her to get petted!

6. I talk to mama now too when she gets home to ask for my soft food.

Full of Surprises

I have really been surprising mama lately. Since before, I would always be really cautious if anyone got too close to me. Well, I have really been being different the last couple of weeks. Mama walked into the livingroom and I was laying there feeding my kittens, she stopped because she did not want to spook me. She was standing there just watching me when I decided I wanted some attention. I walked over to her and let her pet me! It felt so nice and mama was so happy. She always gets this funny look on her face when I do something like that - like she's going to cry or something. I don't understand it. I am getting braver and feeling so much more safe. I know mama and daddy would never hurt me, but it's sometimes hard to forget how I was treated before. Every day I get a little braver and do new things. I have climbed to the top of the kitty tower! Wow, was that fun! I never knew a kitty could have such a good time. One day soon, mama hopes she will never have to worry about scaring me anymore!

Mom's So Nice

Mama is so nice! She got all these new kitty toys. I was even playing with them!! Mama always gets so teary eyed when she sees me doing something like that. When she first got me, she never thought I would play. I was rolling around on the boogie mat, then I even climbed up the kitty condo! I actually went up to her, meowed, and crouched down so she could pet me! It was really nice. I am so glad she took me in and that I have such a happy life now. She said that this will always be my hime. That is so nice to know!
