Dad is coming home!

Dad called meowmy yesterday with big news! On February 16th daddy is coming home for 18 whole days. The whole house is in an upheaval because pretty much daddy's whole family is coming up to visit, and meowmy has to clean out the second bedroom (the one we're not allowed in) so Uncle Kris and his family are staying with us. After meowmy got off the phone I thought a mouse had invaded our little sanctuary she was squeaking so much.
On another note we're battling the dreaded fleas. I've pulled all the fur from my bottom out. Meowmy is at her wits end giving us baths, flea medication, and now worm medication. We've been fighting her on this tooth and claw. I guess it has to be done. Odd thing is meowmy has only been finding the fleas on us and nowhere else in the house. So it's just gonna have to come down to having the apartment bombed.

Moving

Mom's been running around like Gracie on catnip. She's busy trying to get the apartment packed up and ready to move at the end of the month. It's really funny though. She won't go into the storage unit on the porch. She says there's a big scary spider out there, but she won't let any of us furballs out there to capture it saying it could be poisonous. It's really annoying to try and get her to sit down so I can dictate an entry.
On sadder news mom's step-grandma passed away on Saturday morning after a relatively short fight with brain tumors that everyone thought she was winning. Mom's really sad about it even though Grandma Judy wasn't part of the family for very long she was still a very loving and kind person. I got to meet her while I was out in Colorado and I absolutely loved her.
Mom's still missing dad A LOT. Come September he'll have been gone for five whole months. It's hard without him here to give us kids lots of love and treats. Mom's great and everything but dad always spoiled us rotten. Mom wishes he was here to help her pack. For all you kitties please keep my dad in your purrs and all of the troops serving our country and all the others that are affected by this war.

Mommy's funny

I guess mom's been having a bad week. She hasn't heard from dad in nearly a week and last time she did hear from him, he made her cry! Now she's gone and made her hair the same color as mine! I wish I knew what I could do to make mommy happy, but she's gotten so darn sad it's hard. Well I do believe that I'm going to go and curl up on her book so that she has to pay attention to me! Much purrs

Mommy's birthday

Mom's having a heck of a birthday! First she goes to the store to get a little tartlett and they have none! So she comes home and decides to do laundry when the mean girl from downstairs knocks on the door and tells her that the washer is flooding into her apartment (what nerve when her stinky butt keeps mom up at all hours of the day!). So the maintenance guy comes and fixes a whole bunch of things for mommy. I stayed hidden cuz mommy is only supposed to have 2 cats (shhhh no one knows!). And it's not even 3 pm! Poor mommy wants a drink of something called champagne... or whine... why she wants whines is beyond me cuz she always shushes us when we do that! Well I'm off to sun myself!

Is that smoke I smell?

Last night I gave mom a heart attack! Not on purpaws obviously. It was all her fault in fact! She had lit one of those smelly fiery things she calls a candle and she thought she'd put in a place us fur balls wouldn't jump. Ha she doesn't know me very well does she? Well I jumped up on top of the shelf and just stood over the flame. Mom yelled at me to get down. I just looked at her like what. All of a sudden I smelled burnt fur. What an awful smell! Took me a second then I realized it was me! I jumped down and tore around mom's bedroom. She looked at me and grabbed a cloth and got it all cool and wet. When she came back into the room she had to coax me out of my hiding spot. I'm glad she did because that cool wet cloth felt so good on my warm little belly. I just laid there and let mom fawn over me. Hehe little does she know I do it for the attention. I still act like I'm mad at her but as soon as she went to sleep I curled up with her and purred away.

Staying at Grandma's

So tonight momma picked me up from her friend's house where lo and behold I got to meet one of my furaunties Orenji Jucu (which means orange juice in japanese I'm told). Momma's friend told her me and Juice were inseperatable aside from the fact we'd stay a couple of feet away from each other. Well I'm now hanging out with my momma and her teenage sister at grandma's house. There's 3 boys sitting outside of the bedroom trying to get in to see little old me. They're not allowed in cause none of us have been fixed yet. Well off I go to take me a cat nap! Later to my furry friends!

Mommy's gone mad!

Mommy's been rushing around the house all day! She's gotten her bag packed and is now cleaning out her purse for me to ride in tomorrow when she heads home. I'm excited to go with mommy to Colorado, but I was told I have to share her and her human friend with a dog... Ugh... I've never been in close contact with dogs before, but I hear this one is yellow whatever that means. I'm going to be gone for two whole weeks back to my birth home! I am really excited! Mom picked up some wet food and treats and a feathery mouse for me, plus she's bringing my pillow and a blanket for me to curl up in! Aren't I a spoiled brat? Well looks like mom's getting ready to head out to her concert! I bid you all happy days, and I'll try to sneak on to a computer so that I can chatter at you all!

Vets Ugh!

Yesterday when I woke up and yawned, mom saw that I had bit my tounge. I could tell she was freaked out by the way she was poking and prodding me. Let me tell you chili fingers in your mouth first thing is not fun! Mom called her friend and was saying that she was going to take me to the vet. Well I've never been to the vet before, so I was kinda confused as to where I was going. Mom tossed the harness on me, put my in her bag and whisked me off to the car. Well normally when mom does this I'm going to get treats or see friends, not this time! She took me to a building where I was poked, prodded, and had a cold thing put up the most unpleasent place (I'm still trying to lick the feeling away). Well after all of that mom left me with the Vet person where they poked me with a needle. Well I'm feeling better now that they gave me this cherry medicine. Mom said she's gonna give me one a day for the next four days. I'm getting all kinds of spoiled I get all the wet food I want now! Plus I get to go on mom's vacation home to Colorado! Yea maybe I'll get to see my cat mom while I'm there! Well mom's looking like she wants to cuddle with me some more before she takes of cleaning some more!
