Brushes SUCK!

I HATE BEING BRUSHED! There, I've said it! I tolerate the brush on my back, but the second it's NEAR my tummy that's it, one warning then I draw blood!

You see, mom has discovered that I have knots in my tummy fur.. she has somehow managed to trick me 3 times and cut some out, but she is now threatening to shave my tummy! I will look like the biggest DORK! She says that if only I would let her brush me it wouldn't be an issue.. Ya, Right!

I have to figure out a way to hide the cat brush...

My new Digs!

In the living room there is a built-in shelving unit.. at least that is what mom calls it. Us cats call it the condo complex. Nadia and Sukki and Zoe all like the same unit, so they time share. I have 2 units and a front 'garden' where I like to curl up and sleep.

Fight

Mom and Grandma are upset with me.. I had a HUGE fight with Bear Junior. He was in My way and eating MY food and getting attention from MY mom! NOT FAIR! I got here first and I don't wanna share!

Going to go sulk now...

Leave my fur alone!

Mom insisted on getting a knot out of my fur this morning. I hate that! I was sleeping peacefully on the table when BAM! I was woken up by her tugging at my fur! She got it out... but it hurt. I know I'll feel better when it's out, but still! I have to go find a place to sleep where she can't get to me. Think I'll go look now.

My Life So Far

I'm Bear. I have travelled quite a bit around the city looking for a good home/family to call my own. It took a few years, but I settled with my current mom and this is where I am staying! It's been 4 years now, but I think I am around 7 years old. I'm big, I'm all black and mom and grandma say I am beautiful. I think I am handsome, beautiful makes me sound girley!
I like boxes too, as you can see by my picture. I also enjoy confusing my family by changing favorite nap spots every few weeks... hehe, keeps them guessing!
I hate being brushed, mom tries to though, I usually let her get in a few strokes then I meow, followed by hissing, then I strike.. she's caught on though and holds my head so that I don't hurt her.. not that I would do it on purpose, but I just HATE the cat brush!
When mom goes out I get upset, but if grandma is home it's not so bad... when they both go out though I cry. They can hear me through the door/window. They always come back, eventually, but still I worry about being left alone again. I didn't like living outside all the time and don't ever want to do that again.
Anyway, I'm going to go sleep in the chair in the garden now. Bye for now!
