Arrival Story:
I was living with my brother and sister-in-law, and had left for the weekend to visit my parents a couple of hours away to celebrate my birthday. My brother called the day after I left to tell me he got my present, a kitten. Apparently they had come home from the grocery store and were unloading groceries when the little golden tabby kitten followed them in the house, snuggled up with their basset hound, and fell asleep. They named him Sherbert, but I renamed him Goldeneye.
