My previous employer had this cat living in his backyard/guesthouse, one day "Simon" had kittens in the guesthouse closet, she was then known as Simone. His stepson found homes for the kittens and he was going to shoo Gracey away because he did not want to deal with more kittens. I of course got up on my soap box and "educated" him that he needed to catch her and have her spayed, as she was probably already pregnant. He surprised me and asked if I would take her if he paid to have her spayed, what could I do? He WAS my boss! I took her to my veterinarian and had her spayed, unfortunately, she was pregnant by a week or so and she had three kittens which were humanely euthanized when she was spayed.
Bio:
I named her Gracey, because this is a name of a dental instrument used to clean teeth and my boss was a dentist and I am a hygeinist, appropriate, huh?
She has been a GREAT cat, since she was a momma cat, she is VERY affectionate, although, lives in her "own" world. I can have company over for hours when she will finally wander out of the bedroom and act surprised........."Oh, we have company, how come no one TOLD me???"
