"It's a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, surrounded by an enigma". That's what Dad said and you know he got that off the internet somewhere!
The results from the serum protein electrophesis test came back and while it may have ruled out some things, my vet still doesn't have a diagnosis, so she's consulting an internist again because she's not sure what to do next. I say nothing, if you ask me!
I want to thank you again for your purrs, pawmails, comments, and rosettes. Friends are the best cheerleaders!
I do have some sad news, but not about me. My dog brother Quincy was diagnosed with Lymphoma on Monday and just wrote a diary entry about it. My parents were in disbelief and have been looking pretty ugly since. He was taken to the see the vet on Saturday because he was coughing. During that visit, the vet felt his enlarged lymph nodes, and it was confirmed on Monday.
We all love our brother Quincy. He has such a gentle spirit, and we hate the thought of him being sick. We don't like seeing our parents' ugly faces either. So now, both Quincy and I have bare bellies.
On Sunday, just to cheer herself up, Mom took our Halloween pictures. She got our pages ready a few weeks ago, so we will probably change our pages this week. As usual, she was the only one laughing but I think you're gonna laugh too, and we all need to laugh!
Love,
Mystery Mercy

I am so sorry to hear about Quincy. The pictures of him with all of your siblings are so sweet. I think even I could like a dog like that. Your poor parents. I know they are worried about you too. In fact I've been worried too. I was even afraid to open your page... there has been so much bad news lately on Catster. Poop! I wish I could wish my tail and make all the illness and disease go away. I will purr for you and your family. And I look forward to your Halloween pages.
Cheers,
luci Dang it - we sure hate hearing the news on Quincy. And especially after your other doggie journeying to the bridge. I'm sorry your parents are sad, but I'm sure you all can cheer them up. Maybe we need some detectives to figure out this mystery illness of yours! We love Quincy too.... and we're purring......
And we love you Mercy, now mom has an ugly face too Purring for you Mercy and for your doggie brofur Quincy too...
Give your pawrents extra legs rubs to help with the ugly faces...
