Results!September 24th 2009 7:56 pm[ View A Comments (26) ]
We got my results from the last series of blood and urine tests yesterday. It's all technical, but the good news is FeLV and FIP were ruled out. They also checked for organisms and I don't have any bacteria anywhere. When they checked my blood count again, it was actually a little bit higher, though in the low range, and the vet said I could have non regenerative anemia but they don't know why and what might be causing it.
I'm so happy that your ultrasound showed all was normal, homegirl!!!! Sending rubs to make magic blood cells! Do you have a nekkid belly like me? I'm glad all the tests have been okay so far! Sorry to hear Ann Emia might be visiting you. Thanks, RA, HL, and Cal! Oh yeah, Cal, I have a nekkid belly like you. Ann Emia must be a vampire of the red blood cell kind. Ohhh Mercy Mercy Meeee! Even if yr mom thinks yr fur looks like fur scales, I think you are beautiful! Im glad yr tests are normal fur the F-stuffs. I am purrring the rest goes good! Hugs We continue to purr for you my friend. So glad to hear that it wasn't FeLV or FIP. Hoping for a good prognosis. Love, Tigger and Family Oh Mercy I'm so sorry I didn't even realize something was going on with you! I hope they can figure it out! *smacks self in head repeatedly with paw fur not knowing that Mercy was sick* Well duh! I went back and read your last diary and saw I did know something was "off." I'm such a moron! Please furgive? I'm hoping they figure it out. I'm stupid purrs, Edgar Ammm Even if your fur does look like "scales" you're still always beautiful ! I've never met Ann Emia myself, but I bet I can scare her away from you ! You need some "spa-time" Mercy ! I am gald your tests were ok...I am sorry you had to be bitten by those old Vampires! Your furriend, Peekers I would agree that a vacation is well-deserved! So glad all is turning out well! Glad those test came back good. We never want any kitty to have FeLv or FIP. I wish they would throw those 2 diseases away no kitty wants or needs them. We are glad your ultra sound came back normal. Tell your momcat your beau t ful all the time. Love you. Take care and how is your garden? Love, Kibbles, Francis, & Yoda Mercy we are glad that the tests are coming back basically normal & are purring & praying that they can figure out what is causing the anemia. I think you should definitely be spoiled with a week at a high end kitty spa! (((hugs))) Hooray that evfurrything looks normal! We send extra smoochies and purrs. Our angel brofur Bebe had a bone-marrow aspiration when he had lymphoma, and it didn't tell us anything, and it was painful and difficult for the poor B-Man. Mom says she'll nevfur do it again to anycat. So I hope you figure things out without having to do that icky thing! Sooo happy to hear your results are looking normal. We'll keep our paws crossed on that last blood test. XOXOXOXO Pinkie I'm glad they didn't find anything in the ultrasound. But you and Calvin need Nurse Pansy to fight Ann Emia. She's the only one I know who's mean enough. Glad to hear the tests have come back with good results so far. We're purring that they can find out what's up so you can go back to your old self. It's no fun being sick! We are purring for you, Miss Mercy!!! You`s a good furriend!!! We're glad the tests came back okay!!! That is some good news. I am happy you get a test rest, Mercy. Sending you hugs! Lancelot That is good news Mercy! We will keep you in our thoughts!! Oh, my, we didn't know you had been ill, dear Mercy! Of course we will purr for you. Many purrs you find out what's going on. Sometimes you wish they did find something. So you can get it sorted. I think more pats are needed, that's one of the best medicines around I think. Thank you all for your purrs and humor! Raza, yes, wish we could pinpoint the cause after all that. We're grateful alot of things were ruled out, but we need to find out how to help the problem, too. |
