I got a bath today for the very first time in my adult life! Why? Mom said that I don't allow her to brush and comb me enough and my fur was looking ratty. She also said if this bath didn't make me look better then she was going to take me to the vet to make sure everything else is okay, even though I am acting like my usual self.
I watched Mom get ready for my bath in the downstairs bathroom. She brought in towels, kitty shampoo, the camera, and then me. Dad told her to bring gloves but she told him she wouldn't need them. Mom thought it would be best to get in the enclosed tub with me instead of worrying about me trying to jump out. It was a good decision because that was exactly what I tried to do. I also cried a few times but never once did I try to scratch Mom.
I'm going to add a picture of me after my bath and then Mom and I are going out in the backyard so that I'll dry off quicker, as it's very hot here today and the air conditioner is on. Then she's going to try to brush me! We're all due for our monthly flea meds too.
Speaking of fleas, my virtual brother Derby has to be treated for fleas now! He has eight FooPets friends, not including me, so we have fun playing and taking care of each other.

I've been making sure Derby gets his flea meds cuz' I sure don't want to see any of them jumping around on him and I heard they do! Boogie, looks like we posted at the same time!
You know, you're right! When I was outside, Mom said the tips of my fur were white! Mercy!
After reading your diary, my mom thought for a second about giving me a bath too. I assure you she came to her senses pretty quickly. MOL.

Chai Thanks, Chai! I'm going to try to do better about getting brushed so I don't have to get another one again. Mercy Me a Bath! Most of us here don't like it when we get those dry baths. The ones with those wet clothes. The babies think they want baths cause they are always trying to get in the shower or the tub when our Meowy and Grammy do.

Kibbles, Francis, & Yoda Awe!!! Cool bath pics! You still are purrretty all wet n stuff! I was beyond a dry bath and needed my fur loosened up. My fur has been flying everywhere since. Mom is brushing me every chance she gets now but I keep moving around. Well, at least you got your spa treatment at home, and didn't have to put up with a bunch of non-Catster residents. You look beautiful even when wet! Tell your Mom that once in a lifetime is all that cats need when it comes to baths! Thanks, Samoa. Hopefully you never have to go back to that non-Catster spa again!
