A new fur kid in the house

On Wednesday my Mom brought home a new fur kid .... they keep telling me it's another wawa but she isn't like Tippy and Emma , she won't let me smell her and when she sees me she runs away instead of chasing me ! When she runs or just appears suddenly it makes my fur swell up,sometimes my tail stays swelled up for 10 minutes my Mom says it it as big as a baseball bat and she laughs at me ...but it is not funny!!I can't help it she startles me and since I can't get close enough to her to find out what she is it scares me a little:-)
My brother doesn't like her at all.He hisses and the fur in his back stands up in a ridge and looks like he has a mohawk hair cut,he also growls at her which gets me so jumpy that I end up swelling up and hissing too;-(
Well catch ya later

Some stuff about me

I came into life as the 1st born of 4 to a little longhair mama who showed up at my skin Mama's house very pregnant and looking like a basketball on 4 little legs. I've been told she was a real sweetheart right from the first day.Less than a week later I was born.Iknow what I remember about my fur mama is very special. She taught me so much in the 8 weeks we were together!I have a monkey that I like to curl up with that has hair just like hers ;-) I am the biggest of her 4 kits ,Sunny who went to Arkansas with my fur mama and sister is almost as big as me.He is an indoor /outdoor cat , I stay in all the time. My brother Screwloose stayed here in Texas with me he is the smallest of the boys in our litter and he is a silly, crazy guy. My sister ,Merecat is solid black and prefers to stay outside because people make her nervous. My auntie says Sunny is a lot like me,he doesn't mind anything she does with him.We both would be collars for our skin mamas but we are too big!I like to sit on peoples laps and watch birds and outdoor kitties from a window.I also like to sit on the computer moniter (my skin mama says she can't get a flat-screen LCD because I would break it trying to sit on it)
When I first was born , they also had another solid white cat.His name was Buddy.
When I was 11 months old Buddy got sick.He passed on about 2 weeks later.Me and Screwy still miss him .When I was 18 months old they got a little chihuahua named Tippy ,she is a strange fur kid doesn't know how to jump on the ice-box like me and Screwy can but she can make LOTS of noise. When she starts barking and running around she makes me want to get up high, she is just too fast and loud. And she really bugs me when I get in MY litter box and she comes over and sits nose to nose with me....kinda hard to do your business with all that going on.
I got real sick about July 2nd of this year. They took me to the vet place where they put in a catheter and stitched it in place! They also gave me antibiotics on July 3rd they sent me home.I got sick again on July 30th.This time I had to have the same treatment but also got IV fluids because I was dehydrated. The vet said I was a lucky kitty because most cats don't get seen in time with what I had.It was FUS or UTI ...they also did a "culture" and found out what bugs I have so if I get sick again they will know what kind of antibiotic to give me(also said I may get surgery if it happens again) My skin mama says I am now her $800.00 cat ;-) I still feel the same as when I didn't cost so much but I do make sure my skin mama gets extra attention from me now.
Anyway they thought Tippy was so cute they went and got ANOTHER one of those chihuahuas , her name is Emma and she has lived here since June.I like to play with Emma, she is not as loud as Tippy, but Screwloose and I have a lot more fun playing together because we can really wrestle and tumble about and the wawas don't seem to like that as much.
I am sort of a laid back guy and could spend hours getting petted, brushed or hugged. When we have company I always come out in 5 minutes or less to see who they are and get them to rub me.Screwy hides, don't know how long he can hide but most people have only seen pictures of him because he WON'T come out.Well I think this is enough for one day.I'll try to write more later but I have to share computer time with everyone else.
