Arrival Story:
There were 4 kittens in the litter, 2 females, 2 males, all unique in color. I chose the black male. When I went to pick him up, I inquired about the remaining kittens. The 2 females also had new homes, but the orange male remained un-adopted. I was told that he would either go to some farm to be a barn cat, or he would be taken to the shelter. I handed the cat carrier back to the owner and said "load him up". So I came home with 2 kittens that happy day.
Bio:
Jasper is a bit shy, but he is very sweet. He is a mighty mouse "cord" hunter and has destroyed many a computer mouse, cell phone chargers, answering machines, cordless phones (they ARE cordless when Jazz gets through with them). Despite his addiction to cords, we love him and are trying to rehabilitate him.
ADDENDUM:
Sadly, today 11/30/07 Jasper was put to sleep at 10:15 a.m. He became very ill with bladder and bowel obstruction and did not respond to veterinary intervention. Jasper has had a lifelong struggle with feline urologic syndrome. Please, feed your kitty friends well and educate yourselves regarding FUS.
