Arrival Story:
On a hot August afternoon, I found myself lying on the driveway of an abandoned house. For some reason, my mama-cat left me there. ): Kevin had heard a strange sound across the street for several hours so he and Anita finally came to investigate. They saw something that they thought was a dead rat so kept looking for whatever was making the sound. When they looked closer at the “dead rat” they noticed that it was ME, a live newborn kitten (thank goodness I was loud even though I only weighed 3 oz!) They brought me inside, umbilical chord still dangling around, and figured that, since I had been there for a while, a feral cat had dropped me and wasn’t coming back. After a few arduous weeks of bottle feeding, regular weigh-ins on the postage scale and general round the clock care, I grew into a strong, healthy and very loving cat. When my eyes opened, I also saw that I was quite a beauty. (:
